Program Chair Bill Wallace introduced friend and fellow parishioner at St. John's Episcopal Church Steve Warren.

Steve prepares lunches each weekend and delivers them on Sundays to people who are hungry and often homeless.

The "Doing What I Can" initiative has grown from 25 lunches to 160 each Sunday, delivered in brightly decorated sacks with inspirational messages. Inside is a lunch of hot dogs, chips, dessert, water, sometimes beans, and other goodies including toiletries, hand sanitizers, and items to help build shelters (i.e.. tarps).

Steve stamps each bag with the inspirational messages to bring hope to people who are experiencing food insecurities, among other issues.
Steve is looking for bag item donations, as well as monetary donations. Items can be dropped at his house at 2135 Wilkinson Court, Norman. Monetary donations can be made via Venmo to @Warren-Stephen or via the "Doing What I Can" Facebook group site.
