Marc Mears came to Oklahoma in the 60s and purchased State Capital Bank in 1968 and took over what was, at the time, a failing bank and turned it around.  He has served numerous civic and charity programs in the Oklahoma City metro, including rotary.  He has also had over 20 years in the real estate market.  Marc built the indoor tennis facility called The Courts.  Marc has won numerous awards in tennis and is still playing almost every day of the week in his 80s.  Marc attended Stanford originally, and then ultimately transferred to the University of Iowa where he graduated.  His story includes hard work, ambition, and approximately 40 years of sobriety.
