The program is Dr. Kyle Abbott, DVM, a veterinarian who joined the WildCare Foundation in November 2019. He was born in the state of Oklahoma, and grew up splitting time between Oklahoma and Michigan. Dr. Abbott obtained his B.S. in Ecology, Behavior and Evolution from the University of California, San Diego in 2013. He graduated from the University of California, Davis – School of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. Dr. Abbott completed a small animal surgery and internal medicine internship in San Diego and a wildlife medicine internship in Sanibel, Florida, prior to joining the WildCare team. He loves using his knowledge and skills in wildlife medicine, rehabilitation, and husbandry to contribute to conservation through direct impact on the animals WildCare treats and rehabilitates. Thank you for those volunteering for club duties this week. Without a piano or keyboard available yet, we are still in limbo about our tradition of a song leader. Several students will join us to provide a short presentation about the "Stuff-the-Bus" for back-to-school initiative. We will also vote on a new dues structure recommended by our Board. See you Tuesday. JJB
