Members fro m Cross Timbers\, Sooner\, Norman and Legacy Rotary clubs are encouraged t o work as one group at a designated non-profit agency that will be selecte d by the Norman United Way.   The work project starts at 900 am and thi s year Rotary will be working at the United Way Office\, located in the Fi rst United Bank. The address is 570 24 Ave NW Ave\, Suite 110.  The build ing is located at the corner of 24th Ave NW and Boardwalk Street\, with th e parking lot accessible from Boardwalk Street.  The United Way office is sending out a couple thousand of letters and the task will be stuffing en velopes. So this year\, the work will be in a comfortable air conditioned office. A box lunch will be provided at the site between 11 am and noon.        Diane Murphree\, who was in Sooner Rotary years ago\, is the United Way Director of Community Impact and likely will be the person who will coordinate this work effort at the United Way        office.    The event starts at 800 am at Life Church (1500 E Imhoff Rd\, Norman\, OK 73071) with a light breakfast\, coffee and juice are provided. For thos e who prefer to skip the kickoff\, the work project at the designated agen cy (yet to be determined) starts around 900 am. The work has varied yearly \, but it could be yard work\, cleaning inside\, painting or something sim ilar. The work project usually takes 4 or 5 hours\, but you can come and g o as it works for your schedule.
