How to Propose a prospective club member for membership

To propose a new member, a Sooner Rotarian fills out the proposal form and submits it to the secretary.

The secretary will give it to the membership chair who will present it to the board. The board will act on the proposal.

The club membership now has two weeks to consider the proposal and act on it.

If the action is favorable, the proposed person will submit an application and dues to the treasurer.

The proposed member will be inducted as a "red badge" member at this point in the process.

Once certain requirements are fulfilled and dues are in order, the new member will become a "blue badge" member.
